The termination dust (lt. snow) on the mountains arrived a couple days before we did, signifying the end of the summer.   Went to Blondie's for a meal (thanks to Nancy for recommending it!) and that's where they start the Iditarod every March and they even have a sled hanging up as you walk in.  It's a 1049 mile sled race and takes about 56 days to complete, going all the way up to Nome

The Glacier Brewery was good for some cold beer and good conversation, Rick struck up a friendship with the assistant brewer and we learned a lot about local breweries as well as had some good beer, food's good too.

Stayed at 8th Avenue Hotel which was okay, employees were real helpful and nice.  Took a look at the local hostel for future reference but was disappointed, looked like a dump.
